Just type in the description of your product to see what’s out there. If you find nothing, then great, you can move on to the next step. That would be to do a patent search to make sure someone has not filed a patent on your idea. If you do not see anything like it, then that is great.

Next you will want to file your patent if you’re ready to move forward. Then you can go out and look for manufacturers to get a prototype. Now keep in mind, let’s say you will end up selling your item for $10, the prototype will cost lots more. Molds may have to be designed or tools made to make it. From there you possibly need help marketing your idea. And do not forget to get a website; it is a must for doing business today.
